Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corps was incorporated in 1947, being the oldest ambulance service in Ramapo EMS and largest in Rockland County. Ramapo Valley, above all, emphasizes intense training standards and unsurpassed patient care. Ramapo Valley is a volunteer nonprofit agency, staffed and operated by volunteers, and partially funded by donations. The corps provides basic life support ambulance service primarily to the Town of Ramapo, but provides mutual aid service throughout the entire county.
